Description
Yay! I finally finished this one! I think I started it around Easter or so, but didn’t work on it every day. Nevertheless it seemed ages past since then 
Escpecially because some minor details took hours to do 
I actually wanted to finish this in May for ~xxxGravemindxxx's birthday, but totally failed
. However I dedicate this to her!
These are Genoveva (the FC/OC of ~xxxGravemindxxx) and Erynlinn (my FC/OC). They were once best friends, but because of their different definition of good and bad they separated and even became enemies. Nevertheless they do remember their old friendship once in a while. Veva is the most loyal servant of her King Ganondorf, while Eryn does anything to hinder the Gerudo King taken over Hyrule.
(So, their story takes place during the game Ocarina of Time)
However I used real life photos of my friend and me as a reference. I did not copy us 100% e.g. I don’t have red and that long hair or green eyes and my friend is rather pale and has a different hair colour too ^^. But yeah, I’m really rather short
Also some of the objects and clothing seen we do really possess, but unfortunately not the entire outfit
I finished both of the characters first. My main intention was doing a realistic impression of them using our real looks. However then it came to the point to do the background and I had no idea at all what to do That’s a bit unusual, cause normally I know every detail of what I draw, but oh well…..
So I ended up doing two versions (other can be found here:
). This was the first. I was thinking of various locations in Hyrule where both could be standing around like this and didn’t really find something suiting. I ended up placing them next to the outer walls of Castle Town! However they look a bit suspicious that way
After thinking about again I had an idea for a second background, but I didn’t want to chuck this one.
Oh and that’s a fault cutting through that mountain in the back and not a path Yeah, I’m starting to add geology to my art That is most likely some old magmatic rock.
I used brushes on the grass (I hate doing grass ). I found them here: [link] That should be the only thing I used special brushes or tricks on.

Wow,yeah the other IS surely too dark for my taste,you had right XD
But! I saw the dark one had nice details - like the landscape (is imagen how non sad version of that could look *O* )
Oh and I do like this one,but you know that allready,right?
I realy think you did nice with shading,details and stuff here : D
The charas and the castle itself is the one I think become the best!
I also like the idea how you blend your'e own charas with yourself - making it
a more personal like feeling like - this charas truly belong to ya both ^^
Good work on both of the pics - alltought,
I may stick to this brighter and happier one - the dark had it's things I liked too - still,going to imagen how it would look by making it all bright and nice,nyhahaha -
